Why no-inventory, by design
MCSL is based in Midlothian, Texas, and was built as a no-inventory, pass-through sourcing company from day one. That's a deliberate choice: carrying stock means eventually needing to sell what's on the shelf, whether or not it's the best fit for a given build.
Instead, every request is sourced fresh — matched to the supplier best positioned on price, lead time, and compatibility for that specific configuration. It's a model built around the buyer's build, not around inventory that needs to move.
That same discipline extends to compliance. Country-of-origin and Section 889 screening are treated as part of the sourcing process, not an afterthought — which matters for commercial buyers with supply-chain policies and for the Texas state and federal buyers MCSL is building toward serving.
Founder
Jason founded MCSL after a career spent on the operating side of critical infrastructure — managing physical facilities, mechanical programs, and global commercial accounts for organizations that couldn't afford downtime. That background shapes how MCSL sources: with an operator's sense of what actually breaks a build, not just a sales rep's sense of what's easiest to quote.
His experience spans critical facility management, mechanical program management, and global account management for enterprise financial and payments clients — work that put him on both sides of the vendor relationship long before founding MCSL.
